Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter, Issue #003, 2009.10.03
October 03, 2009
Hello <>,

Welcome to another edition of Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter, a free service of Truck-Drivers-Money-Saving-Tips.com.

Our website is chock full of useful tips that can help professional truck drivers save money. We seek to provide objective information -- listing both the pros and cons on various topics -- as well as share our personal experience in using products and services on the road.

We've added a couple of content-rich pages and updated one of the pages on our site over the last two weeks. You can always see the latest additions and updates -- without having to wait for this e-zine to be published -- by subscribing to our Truckers' Savings Blog.

Last week, we added a page under our Packing List section. It was about buying and using sleeping bags in an 18-Wheeler Truck Sleeper. Yes, it is possible to buy a bag that isn't well-suited for you. Read the article and you'll learn some general information as well as our story about constant use of sleeping bags in a large truck.

This week, we published a page about texting under our Telephone Services section. Did you know that texting can be extremely costly, and not just by virtue of the cost of the text messaging plan you have? Click the link to learn some money saving tips.

Since our website is for you and we're constantly looking to improve, we would especially appreciate it if you would let us know what's on your mind:

  • In what aspects of driving a truck -- that you control -- do you wish you could save more money?
  • What was your experience in using a specific product or service on the road?
  • Did you find a particular page on our site helpful or lacking?

Please share with us your thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you.

During the month of October, we're looking for feedback from professional drivers who have APUs (auxiliary power units) on their trucks. Please contact us if you have an APU on your truck and you're willing to share your thoughts about the pros and cons with us.

In the meantime, if you believe that this email newsletter is valuable -- or at least points you to valuable information on our site -- would you please share it with a fellow truck driver?

We wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road!

Best regards,

Mike and Vicki Simons
