Reviews Requested and Completed

Person writing, as in writing a review.

We seek reviews of products, services, truck parts, and truck stops on our site.

Among the many reviews we have performed on our site are those for

  • truck stop showers,
  • truck stop fuel islands and
  • truck stop restaurants.

As a service to you, we have completed these reviews since our last newsletter:

We perform reviews based on our own personal set of expectations. We fully recognize that what one driver expects, another may not and vice versa. If you, as a professional driver, disagree with a review, please feel free to submit one of your own.

Truckers' Savings Blog

First part of URL, as in going to the Internet for information such as on a blog.

Below are the "bloglets" (from newest to oldest) we have published on our Truckers' Savings Blog since our last email newsletter. They contain the titles and snippets of articles we have found online that concern truck drivers and money, such as:

  • news about opportunities for saving money or getting rebates;
  • articles revealing how drivers saved money or lost money (as examples to learn from); and;
  • situations that could cost professional drivers money.

(Please note: the list below contains no links to get further information. In order to get the links, either regularly visit our blog page or subscribe to our RSS news feed.)

  • The Real Cost of Your Debt
    The majority of people who walk, talk and breathe also carry debt. Whether it's a mortgage, a student loan, a car loan - or the good (bad) old credit card debt, most Americans at some point in their lives borrow. And when that time comes for you, it pays off - literally - to understand how much that debt truly costs you. ...

  • Extra tolls to hit hauliers
    IrishTrucker.com - As if there was not enough overheads in the haulage industry, the government's latest plans to add more tolls to the country's motorways is a further blow to the road transport industry.
    A number of measures are being put forward to the government for recommendation by the National Roads Authority and the addition of a number of tolls is the main talking point.

Subscribe to our Truckers' Savings Blog to receive these bloglets -- with the links -- as they are sent.

If you have news about how professional truck drivers can save money (directly or indirectly) please submit it for publication on our Truckers Savings News page.

Where's the Content?

As happens from time to time, each of us needs to deal with an urgent family matter. From mid-October to late November, we had such a situation. That's why we haven't been able to research, write and publish much info on our website during that time -- or do the reviews we've been in the habit of doing.

However, we were able to pre-schedule a Truck Drivers Money Saving Tip or Truck Drivers Money Saving Inquiry -- for our Twitter account -- each weekday during that time.

If you missed any, you can catch up.

We sure look forward to resuming the publication of money saving articles soon. Of course, we welcome your content, too!

We wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road.

Best regards,
Mike and Vicki Simons
