Important Notice

  1. Our Big Announcement: Launch of the Truckers Savings Journalists Program

The theme of our website focuses on professional truck drivers saving money. The more money truckers can earn, the more money they can save. It gives us joy to provide a program through which approved Truckers Savings Journalists can increase their income -- and increase their savings -- while at the same time helping other truckers save money. We think it's a win-win-win situation all the way around.

We invite you to read through the requirements for participation and other information associated with the Truckers Savings Journalists program so that you can start earning money in connection with the articles and reviews you write to help other truckers save money.

  2. Added Exposure for Truckers Savings Journalists on Pinterest

Readers of our site can easily "pin" images from Truckers Savings Journalists' articles and reviews on Pinterest, giving them even more exposure and the opportunity to earn money. In our review of one product, we pinned this image, which is hyperlinked back to the review page.

  3. Get and Share Great Money Saving Tips for Truck Drivers

Every professional truck driver has a story about saving money or spending too much money in trucking. While we share our own successes and bone-headed mistakes on our website to help you, our site isn't just about us. Our goal is for our site to become a clearinghouse of how truckers around the world save money. Perhaps you've mastered something we haven't or you have knowledge about something we don't.

    We invite you to share
    • your review of a product or service marketed and sold to truck drivers,
    • your experience regarding a truck part you've used,
    • your experience at a truck stop or
    • your personal experience (your story) in dealing with money on the road as a trucker.

So, what's your truck driver money saving tip?

  4. Truckers' Savings Blog

Since our last email newsletter, we have posted snippets through our Truckers' Savings Blog from over 160 articles about how truckers can save money or are being forced to spend more money. We do the research and work so that you don't have to. While it takes a lot of time and all of the content is free, we are honored to serve you in this way.

If you prefer, you can use your favorite news feed reader to read our XML file. By subscribing to the news feed, you can see the most recent posts on our web page linked above.

  5. Do You Like Our Content? Please Spread the Word.

If you find value in our website, social networking outlets, news feed or this email newsletter, please spread the word in whatever way is most convenient for you. (Please support our sponsors, too.) We constantly seek to over-deliver value to help professional truck drivers worldwide save money. So we suggest that you Thanks.

Questions

By now, you probably know that we ask hard questions about how professional truck drivers can save money or are being forced to spend more money in their jobs. We asked the following through our site this month:

If "Active students [are] linked to better academic performance" then will active truckers lead to better driving?

This question comes about as a result of reading the article formerly on GreenvilleOnline.com here:

How did diesel fueling stations proliferate?

There was a point in history before heavy trucks were built or fueled by diesel. Was there the same "chicken and egg" problem -- as described here -- back then? How was the problem solved?

Perhaps by learning from history, LNG and CNG providers can press forward -- and those truckers who are intent on saving money by using natural gas can do so.

Why has this assumption been made about health care?

According to the Washington Post, "Cutting smoking rates will save lives. It won’t save money."

They made the assumption that "life expectancy would increase by 3.7 years for smokers, while health-care costs, tethered to that extended longevity, would rise by $1,700."

We think that before long, some drastic changes will be made to health care in America. We don't know the details. We just figure that people don't like having dictates in their lives. They prefer choices.

Testimonials

Allen and Donna Smith of AskTheTrucker.com, TruthAboutTrucking.com and TruckingSocialMedia.com were quoted in the Truck-Drivers-Money-Saving-Tips.com brochure that was available at the 2012 Truck Driver Social Media Convention.

They said, "Mike and Vicki Simons have created an interactive website that is incredibly comprehensive and helpful to Students, New Drivers, and Veteran Drivers alike. They have taken their passion and desire to help people to a whole new level. We strongly urge all drivers to not just take a look, but to become a part of the expanding wealth of knowledge that Truck-Drivers-Money-Saving-Tips.com has to freely offer.
