Although an investigation is still underway, a preliminary report about a truck-involved accident on I-16 indicated that five Georgia Southern nursing students were killed because a truck driver was following too closely. Memorial Day weekend (this year, from May 23-25) is often thought of as the official start of summer in the USA. Many people will be traveling.
