Earn More, Save More

A May 9, 2018, article stated that "Each year, about 2,000 crashes occur on the 325-mile stretch of [Interstate 81 in Virginia]. Of those crashes, 30 have clearance times greater than six hours."

Ouch!

Let's do a little calculation:

 30 accidents each year
x 6 hours per accident to clear the crash
===
180 hours minimum of potential lost drive time.

180 hours
/11 hours to drive in a 24-hour day
===
16.4 days' potential drive time in a year gone!

How can you make up for lost drive time like this?

Already in the southwestern USA, residents and travelers have experienced scorching temperatures so far this year.

For that reason, it is ultra important to keep an eye on your truck's tires and fluid levels.

Wherever you run, including in a hot truck, it is very important that you stay hydrated with pure drinking water and don't overheat.

To all of our readers who are professional truck drivers, we wish you safe travels and lots of money saving opportunities on the road!

Best regards,
Mike and Vicki Simons, Owners
