Important Notice

  • Do You Use a Laptop in Your Truck?

If you use a computer in your truck and if you have hard-to-replace files, we encourage you to do regular back-ups of those files to a secure place.

Some computer users back up their files to an external device like a flash drive -- or to "the cloud" (an online storage service).

Bear in mind that if the only back-up of files you have is with you in your truck and something happens to your truck (like a really bad accident), you may have no way to recover what you need.

Plan in advance. Doing a weekly back-up would be a good starting point (unless you want to do it more often than that).

  • Deduct Your Business Expenses

It's more important than ever that you deduct every business expense you possibly can.

We personally use and recommend the service described in this free webinar:

How to Pay Less Taxes and Never Worry About an IRS Audit.

Fail Trucking Company School

Will student drivers who fail trucking company schools still have to pay for the CDL course? What about this one friend?

Earn More, Save More

According to a July 9, 2018, article, the CEO of "a company that gathers and analyzes market data for the freight transportation industry" has predicted that "For-hire trucking is about to lose a lot of business, as much as 20 percent over the next 10 years."

Some truckers who are seeing trends like this -- and the future of autonomous trucking -- are wisely preparing now for their futures.

But where does one start?
