Earn More, Save More

Trucking jobs come and trucking jobs go, but things really hurt when your trucking job is ripped out from underneath you because the company for which you drive suddenly goes out of business!

Although we were familiar with the closure of Falcon Transport Co. (which stranded some truckers), we didn't realize that so many trucking jobs (as of September) had been lost due to trucking company closures this year!

(The list linked immediately above does not include Celadon, which may easily double the number of trucking jobs that have been or will be lost this year.)

In these financially turbulent times, you probably realize that no job is ever 100% safe.

However, you can help to take the sting out of suddenly being downsized -- or having your job eliminated -- by starting to earn a second income as a trucker.
