A very bad accident happened on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at about 3:30 a.m.

An 86-mile stretch of the Turnpike was closed in both directions until 5 p.m., when only the eastbound lanes were reopened. (The westbound lanes were reopened later.)

Truckers forced to wait until the Turnpike reopened most likely had to sit still for all or more than an 11-hour driving shift -- but possibly not long enough to trigger a 34-hour restart.

Wouldn't it be nice to start earning a second income within the cab of your truck to hedge against losses like that?
