Important Notice
- 5th Anniversary of TDMST Weekly Round-Up
Yesterday -- February 11, 2022 -- we celebrated the fifth anniversary of the start of Vicki's TDMST Weekly Round-Up trucking commentary, which she started way back on February 11, 2017.
Since that time, she has covered a lot of current news articles and videos regarding aspects of trucking that can impact truckers' ability to save money and/or time.
Vicki looks forward to bringing you much more information in the future.
In the meantime, we'd appreciate knowing regarding these trucking commentaries:
- what you like; and
- what you think could be done better.
Please respond to this email newsletter to let us know!
Thanks.
- Monthly Email Newsletter Publication Date Shifted From Friday to Saturday
For as long as we can remember, Truck Drivers Money Saving Tips Email Newsletter has been published on the second Friday of each month.
When Vicki began writing her TDMST Weekly Round-Up trucking commentary each week, she started dating those for the Saturday of each week.
It always seemed a little awkward to publish an email newsletter on the second Friday that included a link to a trucking commentary for the week that ended on the next day.
So, Lord willing, starting with this issue, we'll be publishing the email newsletter on the second Saturday of each month and synchronizing it with the date of the last trucking commentary listed. :-)

Earn More, Save More
Most of the time in this space, we list an action that works against truckers being able to earn an income, such as a shut down due to construction or weather or an accident.
But what if a trucker needs to take time off in order to:
- either address a personal matter (perhaps something family-related or health-related);
- or (as some truckers are doing) to take a stand against perceived injustice?
For most truckers, if his/her wheels aren't turning, they earn no income.
But there can be when they undertake what is needed to earn a certain kind of second income for truckers.
