The KCR-40B Super Kool is a 1.7 cubic foot refrigerator designed with truckers in mind. This unit packs a thermo-cool technology into it’s 29 pound frame. Having a temperature control that allows you to decide exactly how cold you want your groceries. It does not have a freezer section. But has a lot of room. It comes with 2 shelves that are removable that allow for adjustment of taller items such as liter & 2 liter bottles. The door has 2 sections for holding items such as cans or lunch meat etc…a door length area at the bottom and a smaller area higher up. I got mine directly from Koolatron but the units are available in most truck stops and retail for around $150. I’ve used various other “truck coolers” in the past but is be lost without this actual fridge in my truck. My food lasts longer and tastes better. The fruits & vegetables I store in it for snacks are always crisp and fresh. Even the frozen foods I buy from time to time stay colder longer than in those other units I’ve used in my 11 plus year career.
