Shower #2
Pros: Shower Review Loves Georgia Richmond Hill
- One towel and one washcloth were waiting for us in the shower
- We asked for two more towels but were given three and another washcloth.
- Towels were sufficiently absorbent.
- Washcloths were sufficient to meet our needs.
- Counter space at sink was sufficient to meet our needs
- There were two towel hooks on the wall behind the door and three more on the wall behind the toilet
- Fan worked
- Mirror was well positioned on wall behind sink for both short and tall drivers
- Light was directly above the mirror, so that male drivers could get a close shave without nicking
- Water pressure from sink was good
- Electrical outlets worked well
- Shower water temperature could be adjusted from outside the stall without getting wet
- Shower was designed to minimize splattering of water outside stall
- Overall shower water pressure was better than expected; it was not as hard as Vicki expected, given that the type of showerhead was one that typically gives a “sand blaster” delivery of water.
- Shower water temperature stayed pretty consistent when a toilet was flushed. It rose discernibly and very temporarily when something else happened within the facility.
- Toilet flushed well.
Cons: Shower Review Loves Georgia Richmond Hill
- There was no towel hook near the shower stall
- Even though the fan worked, it could not overcome the huge amount of humidity in the room, a sign that there is obviously a problem with the ventilation in the room. Confirming this, the frame of the ventilation outlet in the ceiling in the middle of the room was covered with water droplets that could fall at any time. The mirror fogged up badly during a shower and condensation formed on the walls, door frame, floor and even our personal belongings!
- There was a significant amount of mold/mildew in the grout between the tiles in the shower stall, most likely because of the high humidity in the room.
- The toilet was not clean; there were stains in the bowl and particulate matter in the bowl and under the seat near the hinge.
- Showerhead was very high and could be positioned by Vicki only when she stood on the shower “lip” on her tiptoes.
- Shower water pressure was inconsistent.
- Door had neither a deadbolt lock nor a door restrictor on it.
