Because no full-time trucker (who works hard for a paycheck) is going to be able to shower every single day, one must take sponge baths.
I routinely sponge bathe with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and distilled white vinegar applied to a washcloth. The alcohol evaporates and cools, chasing moisture away, while the vinegar lowers the pH of the skin, which keeps your body’s native bacteria from getting too ambitious (it is therefore a great deodorant).
I also recommend disposable, pre-moistened makeup remover towelettes for washing your face on the go (I’m a guy, but I like my face to be clean, so ladies’ makeup remover towelettes it is). They can be found at Wal-Mart near the cosmetics section.
For number 2, make sure to have an ample supply of wet-wipes on hand. I carry a few with me into the restroom in a zip-lock bag, into which I add an additional half-ounce or so of witch hazel (available wherever the rubbing alcohol is sold in the grocery store). This type of sanitation is essential if you’re not going to be showering daily!
