Notes, Grade, Recommendation, Comments: Shower Review Pilot Virginia Staunton
|Was there anything else noteworthy about your shower experience?:||I marked that there was no door restrictor, but actually it was broken.
There were two signs in the room indicating who had “ownership” of the room: one over the door and one over the mirror. (See photos.) I wonder: who is responsible for cleaning this shower?
There was an incredible amount of mold/mildew on the grout between the tiles in the shower stall. Management really needs to treat this with bleach, a scrub brush and water.
Although the room was a little cool, I’d rather that it be a little cool than a little too warm.
The condensation that collected on the vent directly over the place where users stand in front of the sink dripped on the counter while I was there. If I had been bending over to look in the mirror or brushing my teeth over the sink, I would have been dripped on.
The tiles in the shower stall
There was some defacing of the toilet paper dispenser where someone had written on it.
In order to keep from being too cool when exiting the shower, I turned the fan off before going in, which contributed to the fogging of the mirror. After toweling off, I turned the fan back on and the fogging dissipated.
The towels were nice and warm when I got them, sort of like “fresh out of the oven” warm.
|Based on your personal expectations, what grade would you give to this shower facility and your shower experience today (A+ is best; F- is worst)?:||C+|
|Based on your experience today, would you recommend this shower facility to other professional drivers?:||No way|
|Additional comments::||There was a small glass snifter with dried/artificial flower petals in it as a decoration on the counter.
The travel plaza was accessible by walking on a covered connector from the truck parking lot and where trucks fuel.
